The Muslim Community Centre, (MCC) Abuja (Formally Wuse District Muslim Community) was formed in 1991 by a group of Muslim Brothers with common interest to render community services in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. MCC is the umbrella body of all the institutions.

   
 

1. FOU'AD LABABIDI ISLAMIC ACADEMY: Fou'ad Lababidi Islamic Academy is a Secondary School established in 1995. It offers western education blended with strong Islamic Education. The Academy prepares students to pursue further academic and professional careers in science and humanities in Universities within and outside Nigeria.

2. COLLEGE OF ARABIC AND ISLAMIC STUDIES (CAIS):
The Muslim Community Centre, Wuse Abuja in its continues efforts to provide Educational services to the community of Federal Capital Territory, observed that, there is no secondary school exclusively for teaching and learning of Arabic and Islamic Studies at higher level provided neither by the government nor private organizations in FCT.Against this background, the idea of establishing the college of Arabic and Islamic Studies Wuse, Abuja came into being.

3. INSTITUTE FOR ISLAMIC EDUCATION (IIE):
Way back in 1996, the Muslim Community Centre (MCC) founded a school called Community Education School with a goal of providing the Muslim Ummah with Islamic knowledge. The school was a semi-formal, where the Qur'an was taught. Other subject taught included Arabic languages, Islamic History, morality in Islam etc.Read More

4. FOU'AD LABABIDI NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL: This is newly established Nursery and Primary School which started operation in September 2009.
The Governing Board of the Muslim Community Centre heeded to the various advices and requests by parents and members of the community, craving for its establishment - a clear testimony of the satisfactory services rendered by the Centre.
5. WUSE JUMU'AT MOSQUE: The Wuse Jumu'at Mosque is within the premises of the Centre, and is a standard Jumu'at Mosque where five (5) daily and the Jumu'at prayers are held at stipulated times. The Mosque which has the capacity to accommodate five thousand (5,000) worshipers was built through donations by the Muslim Community.
